Modular chillers (heat pumps) of high power

Modular chillers (heat pumps) with a capacity of 165-460 kW are designed for servicing large industrial enterprises, office and administrative buildings, business and shopping and entertainment centers, hyper and supermarkets. The modular design allows you to combine from 2 to 8 units of the same or different performance working in parallel into one unit. Thus, the total output power of the central air conditioning system can be brought up to 330-3680 kW. The output power of chillers varies from 25 to 100% (in increments of 25% or 33.3%) depending on the thermal load and the number of installed scroll compressors. As the latter, units manufactured by Danfoss (Denmark) and Emerson Copeland (USA) are used. These high-performance compressors are equipped with movable spirals with optimal radial and axial flexibility, providing not only effective compression of the refrigerant R410A, but also removal of solid particles from it. The floating seal, which the compressors are equipped with, minimizes the leakage of gaseous freon and also contributes to an increase in its compression ratio. To increase the torque, the drives of the units are equipped with powerful magnets made of rare earth metals. Each compressor is equipped with its own intelligent protection system that prevents its damage in the event of an emergency (for example, when the discharge temperature is excessively high). Modular chillers (heat pumps) of high power are equipped with highly efficient shell-and-tube heat exchangers. They are undemanding to water quality, are characterized by relatively small pressure losses compared to plate evaporators, are resistant to freezing, and are less susceptible to scale formation. Water consumption ranges from 28.4 to 79.1 cubic meters/h, depending on the chiller model.
